Greetings to my readers!

Thanks for your interest in Our Beloved.

As the father of seven, I know a lot about the deep and unique love parents have for their children. Even though my children are now adults, that intense love and concern continues, unabated.

The experience of being parents certainly gives insight into the infinite love and compassion our Heavenly Parents have for us.

It’s a comforting thought, isn’t it? I know how much I want my own children to be happy and successful, and I know something about unconditional love. The profound love I feel for my children is woven into every fiber of my being. Since I can love so intensely, I’m certain that our Heavenly Father loves us with unimaginable depth and devotion.

The love of parents for their children is a major theme in this novel of intrigue and drama.

Much of Our Beloved takes place in Paris, France, a city I fell in love with while on my Latter-day Saint mission. I am pictured here in a Parisian restaurant, Le Bosquet (where part of the story takes place) ready to enjoy a bowl of delicious French onion soup.
